Lina survived her speech...mine is Sunday. We have had a wonderful experience transforming from people who can't imagine giving a speech to people who are doing it. I may invite SN or Eric...certainly not both.

I've passed $8,000 to Javier and starting to get impatient because we've just made improvements in the status quo, not changes so far. Nice to have him around so much, though.

Worked a lot harder than I had in mind on this harrowing novel about Vietnam. It's almost 700 pages, and really sad. I have some work from CHCF, too, and because it's so varied I can't schedule a certain number of pages a day like I can with the novel, so it hasn't been getting its fair share of my attention.

I've been too busy to diet so I suppose I've become fattter.
